Hi, I am a Wizard Shadowhunter Demigod

WARNING: Extreme nerdiness and fangirl stuff ahead. Proceed with caution.

I have recently been thinking about different races in books and I wonder whether it would be possible to mix different races from completely different books. For instance, is it possible to be both a wizard and a demigod? The answer, I believe, is yes. Assuming wizards and witches aren't actually demigods and are just unknowingly children of Hecate, it would be possible to be both a wizard and a demigod. How? Well, let's say that Zeus gets into a relationship with a pretty little witch in the United States and they have a kid. Is that kid a Demigod? Yes. His dad is Zeus. Is that kid a wizard? Probably, unless he's a squib. So it is possible to be both a wizard and a demigod.

What about mixing some other races? Lets say, demigod and Shadowhunter. Shadowhunter blood is dominant, but is it dominant over the blood of the gods? I highly doubt it. Assuming both the world of Percy Jackson and the world of the Mortal Instruments are real, angels would probably be considered gods. Since Shadowhunter's already have angel blood in them, technically they already are Demigods. But, okay, lets say that Shadowhunters are not Demigods. Is it still possible to be both? Well, lets say Zeus gets into another relationship, this time with a cute Shadowhunter. from Canada. They have a kid (a girl this time). This girl has Shadowhunter blood (obviously, because it's dominant) but she's also a Demigod because her dad is Zeus. The only requirement for being a Demigod is that you have one godly parent. So this little girl would be  both a Shadowhunter and a Demigod.

What about being a Shadowhunter and a Wizard? Lets say that a Shadowhunter and a Wizard meet and fall in love. Technically, a Wizard would be considered a Mundane, and so these two would not be allowed to get married unless the wizard ascends. But why shouldn't a wizard be able to ascend? They are technically Mundanes. So this wizard ascends and becomes a Shadowhunter. I see no reason that this wizard should loose his magical abilities. Unless, of course, wizards and witches are actually Warlocks. Both these races can do magic. Except wizards are obviously not warlocks because they can have children. So scratch that. Shadowhunter's seem to hate magic so maybe marrying witches and wizards would be illegal. But that, of course, does not mean that a wizard and a Shadowhunter could not fall in love and have a kid. Sometimes Shadowhunters in love break the law. So, yes, I believe it is possible to be both a Shadowhunter and a Wizard.

But is it possible to be all three? Lets say Zeus falls in love with a mortal again. (He does do that a lot, doesn't he?) This mortal just happens to be the child of a Shadowhunter and a Wizard who ascended. This woman that Zeus falls in love with is technically a Shadowhunter wizard. So Zeus and the Shadowhunter wizard have a kid. Shadowhunter blood is dominant so the kid is obviously a Shadowhunter, and the kid is also a Demigod because one of her parents is Zeus. But the kid is also probably a witch because magical blood seems to generally be dominant over non-magical blood. So it is possible to be a wizard, a Shadowhunter AND a demigod.

I could of course talk about other races. Are werewolves in Harry Potter the same as Werewolves in The Mortal Instruments? Are those werewolves the same as the ones mentioned in Percy Jackson? Are monsters and demons the same thing? Do they come from Tartarus or the Void or is the Void actually Tartarus? If angels are gods and monsters are demons, does that mean that Tyson is a Faerie? What about mermaids in Harry Potter and mermaids in The Mortal Instruments and Naiads in Percy Jackson? Are they all the same? Are they all considered "fair folk"? So many questions!
